The Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) is a globally recognised credential from GARP that validates the ability to identify, measure, and manage financial risks across market, credit, operational, and liquidity domains.

To earn the FRM® designation, candidates must pass two exams (Part I and Part II) and document two years of relevant full‑time work experience; the credential is respected across banks, fintechs, consulting, asset management, and treasury teams worldwide.

  • No specific degree or professional background is required to register for the FRM® exam—open to all aspiring risk professionals.

Work Experience is a Must

  • To earn the FRM® designation:
  • 1.Pass FRM Exam Part I
  • 2.Pass FRM Exam Part II within 4 years of Part I
  • 3.Submit 2 years of relevant, full-time risk management work experience
